Off-Balance - debuff (Attack) Target has reduced ATK and their attacks have a higher chance to be Dodged. Paralysis - debuff (Disable/Damage over Time) Target has a chance to lose next turn and take damage. Paralyzed targets cannot Dodge, follow-up, or Revenge attack. This debuff can be resisted by a high Light Resistance. Starts Powered - effect (Energy) This Ability has full energy and can be used at the beginning of the battle. Primed - buff (Attack/Defense) Increased Dodge Chance and deals boosted damage on Revenge attacks. Provoked - debuff (Crowd Control) Target is forced to attack the provoker for the next 3 turns. Revenge Attacks - effect (Attack) If the target (or an ally) is hit there is a chance for a Revenge attack, a basic attack. Buffs (like Pumped) or traits (like Slow) can grant Revenge attacks. Aria is an acrobatic master Assassin that (almost) perfectly dodges every attack and strikes back instantly. She is the second most expensive hero in the game (in terms of resources). The one hero more expensive to ascend is Sun Wukong. Her tokens are primary available in the Aether Shop and both of her Ascensions require exclusively rare Celestial Evos ( Ember Sanguine is very similar to her in this regard).
Skill Breakdown[]
All of Aria's attacks never miss. Her basic attack Provoking Poke always hits and provokes the target ( Provoked). She has a 100% chance (guarantee) to dodge every attack when the attacker is Off-Balance or paralyzed ( Paralysis) and the attacker has no Perfect Swing or a similar trait like Dwarven Resolve and Master of Combat. Aria's attacks cannot be dodged, even if she is Dazed or Off-Balance. In conclusion
In conclusion, it can be said that Aria is overpowered against opponents who she can debuff and who cannot hit her because of that. While on the other hand Dwarfs and other heroes like the Honorbound Samurais Hansuke and Takumi can hit and beat her.
Aria in PvP[]
Beside the counter heroes mentioned above there are more ways to counter her in defenses:
- Shade's Spirit Link
- Yan Luo's Gloom Cage
- Damage over time debuffs like Wounded, Poision, Burned, etc
- disabling debuffs like Frozen and Paralysis
- Emperor Zulkodd's Into the Pit
- Healers that can cleanse (remove) Aria's debuffs from allies
- Hero's with auto-cleanse traits like Kai Makani or that are immune to debuffs like Constructs
Tokens[]
Since her debut Aria's tokens were sold in the Aether Shop exclusively. In 2018 she was several time featured in the Portal. But since the release of the New Portal Update (Feb-2019) she is "Aether Shop exclusive" again and the only hero in the Aether Shop left. Ember Sanguine and all other heroes moved to the portal.
Because of the incredible amount of excess tokens that are needed to buy some of her tokens it requires a several weeks (Forum: Finishing Aria) to raise her star and ascension level.

Notes and Tips[]
If Aria is teamed up with Shieldmaiden Astrid, Jin Lei, or Marrow whose special attacks can inflict off-balance and paralysis, Aria can dodge perfectly ("tank") any enemy who has no Perfect Swing. If she should "tank" just watch out for enemies that are immune to debuffs like Constructs.
