Chi the Light Spirit in Challenge Mode
While in the normal Campaign Dungeon Chi is already a tough opponent you will face it again in the Challenge Mode - in an even tougher form.
Chi loves to dodge attacks, purges the buffs of your Heroes with passion, and hunts every Element except Dark (It's a 
Nature Hunter, and 
Fire Hunter, etc). That way it can deal boosted damage to most Heroes, and with its Spirit based Thundercracker special attack it can instantly kill weak Heroes.
On top of this Chi has two taunting bodyguards.
How to beat Chi
Do not let Chi hit your Heroes
- Keep it Dazed ( Lady Nimriel, Yokozuna, Ella Ametryst, Zurk,) or Diseased ( Kobal the Pestilent, or Shadowblade) - before the bodyguards start their Taunt.
- Buff your Heroes as often as possible. Chi loves to purge buffs! Keep it busy. While it removes the buffs it won't attack your Heroes. The buffs of Chief NubNub and Ekko, and Yasmin Bloom'a Aegis Bandage are suitable for this purpose.
Get rid of the bodyguards as fast as possible
- Use Special attacks that do damage over time, like Poison ( Phenol Thoxian), Shock ( Ekko), or Fire ( Nitpick, Ignus the Mad, Mangle Jaw, etc).
- Purge the Taunts with Willow Swift's, Bovus El Doro's, and Malice' abilities.
- Take advantage of Squinch's Challenge Accepted
Note: 
Ekko is immune to Chi's Thundercracker attack, but Chi can hurt Ekko badly with basic attacks.
Augustus is another good choice as he can heal, purge and buff your team.
Another Way to Beat Chi
Sometimes, it is quite hard to defeat Challenge Mode Chi not only because his high damage output but also because his habit to heal and dodge a lot. So, a viable team is as follows~
Shadowblade - In order to reduce his heal, you can disease him with Shadowblade's first ascension ability.
IGOROK - Using IGOROK's first ascension's Frostbite taunt, you are able to easily frostbite Chi, dealing heavy damage to him whenever he uses a special ability.
Yasmin Bloom - Using Yasmin, you are able to out heal Chi's abilities quite easily. If you are having trouble with her dying, try adding maybe 
Sir William to fill the gap between IGOROK's taunt's cooldown period.
