Armor-Piercing - effect (Damage/Damage Reduction) Armor-Piercing attacks ignore the target enemy's Armor. ATK+ - buff (Attack) Target has increased ATK. Boosted Damage - effect (Damage) This hero deals boosted damage against certain targets or under certain circumstances. See the description of the respective Trait or Ability for details. If you see this icon during events, it means that the hero gets a special event buff. Burn Immune - immunity (Status Effect) Can't be burned and/or takes no damage from Burn debuffs. Damage Over Time caused by Burn debuffs doesn't occure but can take damage from Fire attacks. See also Fire Immune. Feared - debuff (Damage) Target takes increased damage and each hit dealt to the target has a chance to make the target flee when on 20% HP and below. Freeze Immune - immunity (Status Effect) Can't be Frozen. Frozen - debuff (Disable) Target cannot perform any actions for 1 turn, with the exception of Icebloom's Let It Snow, which Freezes enemies for 2 turns instead. Frozen targets cannot Dodge. Usage In PvP[]
Currently, on September 11, 2018, High King Valkin is popular in PvP, used with 2 dwarves, interchangable between Hagrim Felhorn, Therand Fiddlestrom, and Dagrund Blacksmoke. Then, the remaining hero is Archangel Emily, as her ability to revive is very good within this meta. In high level range (around level 65 to 80) these dwarfs and Emily often have Unbreakable Heart, Healer and Tank Runes on them, making them a strong defense for My Dungeon.
Valkin is immune to several debuffs due his Impervious trait. His Lead By Example lets all allies follow his attack on his target.
Dwarfs, with their Dwarven Resolve, deal extra damage to opponents who have a high dodge ability ( Evading) like Rogues, Yokozuna, and Lily Blossom's when she used her Pollen Cloud buff.
Notes and Tips[]
The legendary High King Valkin appeared the first very time on September 15, 2016 for 4 days in Heroic Portal Summons. He is the 65th Hero in Dungeon Boss.
High King Valkin gets a 30% ATK + DEF self buff from his Dwarven High King on top of his excellent attack and defence stats when fully ascended. His Epic Hugin and Munin replaces this trait by Epic Dwarven High King which passively buffs his attack and defense by 50%.
Hero Updates[]
Since this recent Dwarf update Valkin was not only Fear Immune but immune to all debuffs due his Invulnerable trait.
The update on December 18, 2018 replaced Invulnerable with Impervious. That is, Valkin cannot be Poisoned, Burned, Frozen, Chilled, envenomed by Venom, Shocked, nor Diseased. But he can be Feared now, and debuffed again.
Shade can Spirit Link Valkin but he can not use Possession on dead Valkin. He is immune to it.
