Background For decades, Zen has lead a peaceful life, watching the world from his home high up in the mountains and sharing his powerful light knowledge with the brave few who sought him out. But the growing Darkness caused him to take action and descend into the fray, bringing his powerful light healing powers into the legendary battle against the Boss of Darkness! As with all the Heroes that fought on that epic he was locked away in the portal for what felt like an eternity. Whilst floating between dimensions, he had a vision of the Boss of Darkness' grand plan and has been working tirelessly to escape and warn the Heroes of the coming evil! |

Accelerated - buff (Speed) Increased Speed, and Haste that allows a second action and adds evasion. The increased Speed makes the target Fast for one turn. This can affect the order of turns in raids. (This buff is caused by Zen's Enlightenment.) Cleanse - effect (Status Effect) This effect instantly removes 1+ debuff(s) from the target ally. Damage Reduction - effect (Damage/Damage Reduction) The damage suffered is mitigated by certain percent. Damage Reduction is capped at 90% and applied multiplicative. Enlightenment - buff (Speed) Allows for a second action (like Haste), target has increased Speed and is Silence immune. (This buff comes with the Accelerated buff for increased Speed and removes the Silence debuff when applied and protects from it.) Heal - effect (Health) Recovers HP for the target ally. Impervious - buff (Status Effect) Like the trait with the same name, the Impervious effect grants a set of immunities. The affected target cannot be Poisoned, Burned, Frozen, Chilled, Envenomed, Shocked, nor Diseased. Invincibility - buff (Shield/Status Effect) Target is immune to all damage and debuffs for 3 turns. Silenced Immune - immunity (Status Effect) Can't be Silenced.

Notes and Tips[]
To keep the forces of evil off his trail, Zen was only available in the Heroic Portal on one weekend (9th-13th June 2016). He'll be back at some point in the future though! Zen is the 61th Hero of Dungeon Boss.
Hero Changes (February 16, 2017)[]
These changes were made to balance the overpowering Zen and Kozar Bonebreaker tactics in Dungeon Raids.
- Safe Haven is swapped with Enlightenment. Safe Haven starts now charged as first special ability instead of Enlightenment.
- Removed heal component from Safe Haven, now considered a "Buff", e.g. "Defender" Zen will cast it first round without waiting for an ally to be damaged.
- Significantly increased healing on Group Meditation and Enlightenment.
